I was ready for this surgery I was gaining weight everyday or it felt that way. I went for my check-up in April and had gained 20 more pounds. I asked my doctor what I could do. She suggested Gastric Bypass Surgery, it did scare me but I knew I had to do something.

I went to the seminar in August and talked with Dr. Husted in September and before I knew it my surgery had been approved. On December 31,2002 I started a new life. It was hard at first and I wondered what I had done, but now I can say its been worth it. I have lost 81 lbs in 6 months. I still have bad days but I try and stay focused on my future. There are days I can't imagine what it's going to be like when I reach my goal but I'm looking forward to it. I will continue to keep everyone posted. Thanks for the support from everyone.
