I was supposed to have my surgery September 2, 2003 but because of a tooth infection I am having to put it off for at least a couple of weeks while I get my tooth looked after...I was really anxious to get the surgery over with but Dr Anderson is looking after my best interests. I appreciate everyone that I have met so far in this process especially the staff and Dr Anderson. I especially appreciate the information that Wanda shared with me about post-op life...she is a real benefit to all concerned with Cumberland Center for Obesity...Will be re-setting my surgery date...probably a couple of weeks… Thanks to all.

UPDATE:
I had my surgery on the 19th of Sept 2003...the surgery was rather uneventful..every thing went great...I had no complications whatsoever. The Staff at Baptist was wonderful...Dr Anderson and the Cumberland staff couldnt have done more for me...I really feel like God has blessed me more than I deserve...I started out at 340 pounds and as of the 16th of March(my 6 month checkup)I am down to 250. I have no more aches and pains..have alot more energy...I seem to be go go go all the time. My wife has really been impressed...to all of you that are thinking about the surgery...just grab God by the hand and leave it to him and his very knowledgible surgeons and staff and come out on the losing side just as I did...My prayer is for anyone having the DS or Fobi surgery to have a speedy recovery and thanks again to the staff at Cumberland Center for Obesity..especially Jennifer..Wanda...and last but not least..Dr Anderson
