I am 58 years YOUNG. I had my surgery on March 11, 2002. My starting weight was 255 pounds with a BMI of 47. Currently I am 19 months out from surgery and I have lost 110 pounds and have a BMI of 26.5.

Before surgery, I was taking seven medications a day, I now take only two!
