Like so many others, I have struggled with my weight all of my life. I had reached the point where my health was really beginning to pay the consequences for that - high blood pressure, diabetes, acid reflux, sleep apnea, PCOS and on and on. I was depressed; I had stopped being a mom to my son and I was getting to the point that I rarely even left the house except to go to work. At almost 5 months post-op, I have lost 75 pounds and can walk 3 miles 3 nights a week without feeling like my heart is going to explode. I feel like I have been given a second chance, and my 10-year old son is now the one struggling to keep up with me!
