Dr. Husted saved my life, and Jamie inspired me to succeed.

After three heart attacks and two strokes, all attributed to Morbid Obesity, the prognosis for a long and healthy life seemed awfully bleak. I suffered from co-morbid symptoms including angina, type II diabetes, hypertension, obstructive sleep apnea, asthma, dangerously elevated cholesterol, and generally a very poor outlook on life. My self esteem was at an all time low. Dr. Husted and Jamie treated me with compassion and dignity, and showed an enormous sensitivity to explaining every detail of the procedure from admission to discharge and after care. I always felt like they were there with me every step of the way and were never too busy to talk with me. I lost 160 pounds and feel as well as when I was playing baseball in college.
