I have been overweight my whole life! I had tried everything out there to lose weight. I finally had a friend tell me that she had had the laparoscopic gastric bypass. I told her that I had been thinking about having it done. She stood behind me all the way and I finally had my surgery on the 18th of August!! I lost 23lbs. at my two week check-up and I was SO HAPPY!

I had NEVER been able to buckle up in my vehicle and one day after my check-up, I got in my vehicle and I thought I would try to buckle up, when I got it buckled, I HAD ROOM TO MOVE!! Needless to say I was very happy and I sat in my driveway crying!

I make every day count and can see a big difference already in myself!

UPDATE - July 5, 2006 - I am doing so great, I can't even describe it! I am currently 230 pounds!!!!!! Before I had my surgery I weighed 445, so that means I have lost a Grand Total of 215 pounds!!!!!!! That is not even a year!!!! I never dreamed that I could ever feel as good as I do!
