I wanted to say thanks to Dr. Husted. He gave me my life back when he did my surgery. I weighed 460 pounds and I couldn't move. It was all I could do to get out of bed in the morning. I was sitting around waiting to die. My one thought was I will never get to watch my son grow up. Now I know I will get to see him grow up and have a family of his own.

I had surgery in January of 2001, and it was the best thing that has ever happened to me. Now I have more energy then I know what to do with. I went to the fair this year and for the first time in about 20 years I actually got to ride the rides. I used to just watch the people get on and off the rides and wish that I could join them. Now I can, and I do.

I just want to tell Dr. Husted and Jamie thank you so much. I can never thank them enough. I hope that someday I can do something to show them how much they mean to me.
