What can I say, it has been such a journey. First of all I have to thank the great GOD above for my journey. My life has so changed from a person who was going to end up in a wheel chair or death. I had been obese since I was six years old. Through a lifetime of sickness and stress I became a super morbid obese person. There I said morbid obese. I could not say this before my DS. I want to thank Dr Husted and his staff for the wonderful care and work that was done for me. I have no doubt that GOD sent me to Dr Husted. He truly is a GOD fearing person who is caring and does this surgery for one reason,LIFE. Now I have finished my journey and had my reconstructive surgery in Brazil with another GOD called doctor Dr Fabio Mendez. Life is so good now I am beside myself. I have left 14 medical pills behind me and no longer have high blood pressure, diabetes, sleep apeana and near sightness. Everyone ask me would you do this again. Yes, I would, twenty times over I would do it again. The DS is the right surgery and no doubt Dr Husted was the Doctor for me. GODS SPEED on what you decide, but, I really would do this all again. From size 28 to size 6 or 8's. I love it and my husband and daughter do too. I now for the first time in my life can wear my daughter's hand me downs.
